We understand that it can be stressful to leave your pet when you go out of town – especially if they are ill or when they are recovering from a procedure or surgery. All Creatures Veterinary Care is here to offer peace of mind with our boarding services.

We provide complete general boarding services for all of our patients, and medical boarding services for pets with conditions standard boarding centers may not be equipped to accommodate.

Medical Pet Boarding in Grayson

Pet Boarding

For Dogs

Every morning, the dogs enjoy some fresh air in our outdoor run. While they are outside, their kennels are cleaned, disinfected, and stocked with fresh linens.

The dogs who stay with us are walked on a regular schedule according to their physical capacities and abilities.

Your dog will be supervised during their entire stay with us – both during walks and while they rest. In the evening, they are fed dinner and walked again before bedtime.

For Cats

We make sure to feed your cat according to your specifications and their needs. This will help to ensure that their routine is consistent with their routine at home.

We provide daily one-on-one interaction for cats who stay with us including playing, petting, and even cuddling. Litter boxes are checked, cleaned and disinfected periodically throughout the day.

Your cat's room is restocked with fresh linens and cleaned daily. Additionally, we refresh linens and clean your kitty's room daily. Our cat boarding area is separated from the dog area to ensure that our feline guests feel relaxed and safe while they stay with us.

Medical Pet Boarding

Your pet will be supervised by our expert veterinary team who will watch over them carefully, and administer medication. Any medications that your pet requires will be administered to your pet on the same schedule they are used to at home.

  • Is there a limit to the number of pets I can board at a time?

Boarding fees are impacted on things such as the duration of the stay, the size of the pet, and special medical requirements. Please get in touch for a quote.

  • When should I drop off and pick up my pet?

Pets must be dropped off or picked up during regular office hours. We recommend making reservations for boarding your pet, especially for holidays and weekends. During these times, we suggest calling 2-3 weeks in advance to increase the chance that we can accommodate your pet.

  • How should I prepare for my pet's stay?

Each animal is different. To prepare for your pet's stay with us, we'll take the following steps to ensure that we can meet their unique needs.

Step 1: Contact us to get started

Call us to discuss details about your pet and your boarding needs, and a member of our team will be happy to coordinate your booking.

Due to the nature of our accommodations, please note that we do not accept unaltered dogs. Pets must be up to date with all vaccinations and free of fleas and ticks to stay at our facility.

    Step 2: Book a boarding facility walk-through.

We want to be sure that we are a good fit for each other! Before your pet's stay with us, we will invite you both to our boarding facility for a walk-around to get a sense of how comfortable your pet will be during your stay with us.

This walk-through will include walking on a leash, walking past other kennels, and trial runs of loading your companion into and out of a kennel.

Step 3: Set your pet up for success

Before you drop your pet off with us, there are a few steps you can take to help ease any stress your pet may feel.

On the day of your drop-off, spend some extra time with your pet beforehand and make sure they get some vigorous exercise so that they are feeling calm. When you arrive at our facility, stay calm, cheerful and confident during the separation.

For pets that are not on a special diet, we can provide high-quality pet food that is appropriate for the size and breed of your pet. An additional fee may apply.
