Donald R. Gibson, DVM - Veterinarian / Owner of All Creatures Veterinary Care
Dr. Gibson graduated from Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1991 and began his veterinary career in Maysville, KY. He moved to Grayson after purchasing Gross Vet Clinic from the late Dr. Gross' family in June 1995. "Doc" enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine as well as, community service. When not taking care of the "critters" he enjoys boating, skiing, flying and many other activities with his wife, Cindy. He especially enjoys getting to spend time with his grandchildren, Sam, 4 and Charlotte, 9 months. He has one son, Jared who lives in Lexington with his wife Emily. Doc has adopted and rescued many animals over the years with the current "crew" consisting of three dogs: Dewley, Apollo and Derby, three cats, Earl, Eminem and Willie and a Clydesdale named Scarlet.
Michele McGlone - Veterinary Technician
Michele is a Veterinary Technician and self described jack-of-all-trades from surgical and medical assistance to client education to handling inventory. She has been with the hospital since 2005 and finds that her favorite part of the job is helping the patients reunite with their owners after successful procedures. She said that happy parents and patients excited to see each other makes this job awesome! Her family consists of three dogs, Zonk, Snoopy and Squidward and several active cats that were all rescues. She is also the proud Aunt to 3 dogs, 3 cats and a horse. When she is away from the hospital, Michele enjoys watching football and basketball games, going on adventures, hunting and spending time with her husband, Stub, family and friends.
Samantha Potter - Veterinary Technician
Samantha joined the ACVC family as a volunteer in May of 2013. Now she is a full time Veterinary Technician and a current online student at St. Petersburg College in Florida where she plans to finish with a Bachelors Degree in Veterinary Technology. Sam has several pets including three dogs, Daisy, Monroe and Duke, two cats, Aldean and Maybelle and a retired show goat named Waylon. In her spare time she enjoys hiking, random road trips, crafting and spending time with her friends, family and pets.
Tommi Butler - Veterinary Assistant
Tommi started as a volunteer at ACVC in September 2015 and is now employed as a full time Veterinary Assistant. She is a 2016 graduate of Kentucky Christian University were she was a four year volleyball player. Tommi will be going to vet school in the fall of 2017, but plans to return to the area to practice small animal veterinary medicine after graduation. She says her favorite part of working at ACVC is watching and learning about surgeries and getting to help treat exotics, especially reptiles! Tommi has two dachshunds, Tyson and Daisy, a cat, Lester and a turtle named Speedy.
Her hobbies include playing sports, working out, reading and playing the guitar and piano.
Courtney Gollihue - Veterinary Assistant
Courtney joined the ACVC team in August of 2016 as a Veterinary Assistant. She says her favorite thing about working at ACVC is helping animals while learning new things and meeting new people.She is an East Carter High School graduate that enjoys hiking, four wheeler riding and spending time with friends and family.Courtney has three fur babies at home including two dogs, Bella and Bear and a cat named Lola.
Vanessa Sullivan - Groomer / Veterinary Assistant
Vanessa pulls double duty as our groomer and a veterinary assistant. Vanessa is a professionally trained pet groomer and stylist who graduated from Nash Academy of Animal Arts in Lexington, KY. She also interned at Nash for three months following her graduation. Vanessa says she takes great pride in her work and truly finds joy in working with the animals. Vanessa, affectionately known as "Groomer" has been voted Best Groomer in the Grayson Journal Readers Choice Awards for the past 4 years! When she is not styling pets, she enjoys hanging out with her two sisters, Hannah and Tori, her husband, Danny, one year old daughter, Emma and her three dogs, Danica, Missie and Speck.
Stacy Burke - Receptionist / Assistant Manager
Stacy came to work for ACVC in January 2015. She is a graduate of ACTC with and Associates Degree in Medical Office Management and Applied Science. She has two cats, Gemma and Ace that were rescues. Stacy loves spending time with her husband Dwayne and three children, Austin, Derick and Kasey. She is always up for trying new things and enjoys mexican food, scary movies, fast cars and fishing.
Sherri Wallace - Receptionist
Sherri came to work with the ACVC family in August 2015 after the decision to make a career change to be closer to home. She has a background in graphic design. She lists getting to know the owners and seeing all of the pets as some of her favorite parts of the job. Her family includes her husband Bart, two daughters, Evie and Darian, two dogs, Jasper and Tucker and Jinx the cat who is a rescue. Sherri is a proud Lady Raiders mom who enjoys watching and cheering for her girls at their volleyball and soccer games. She also loves working on her and Bart's '69 Camaro and going to car shows.
Cindy Gibson - Marketing & Promotions Director / Bookkeeper
Cindy is responsible for several duties at ACVC including maintaining the clinic website, Facebook page and electronic sign, organizing events such as the annual Dog Jog, ACVC Anniversary Celebration and Pets & Kids Trick or Treat night, creating monthly promotions and specials for things such as Pet Dental Month, Heartworm Prevention Month and Flea and Tick Prevention, fill in receptionist from time to time, bookkeeping and payroll. Some of her favorite duties include getting to be the photographer for the annual Easter Bunny and Santa visits to the clinic and decorating, especially for Christmas! She has three dogs, Dewley, Apollo and Derby, three cats, Earl, Eminem and Willie and a Clydesdale horse named Scarlet. In her spare time Cindy enjoys photography and traveling, boating and flying with her husband Doc.
